This class is the gui for the status bar at the bottom of the window.
It is semi configurable in that the host window can add icon images to
the icon panel which is the right most panel.
A system message can be shown with or with out a timer. With it will be
displayed for 5 sec or until another message overrides it. If no timer
is used then the window is responsible for clearing it or it will be
cleared when another message gets set.
